Vehicles Affected: Approximately 3,400 model-year 2020 Buick Enclave and Chevrolet Traverse SUVs
Edit (you can use HxD mh-nexus.de) the 'enclave.exe' and replace byte $0E with $2E at address $00000126 to increase 2GB memory patch. 00000126: 0E to 2E GFX FIX UPDATE (Jul 2017). Apple has long made much of their Secure Enclave Processor in their iPhones and more recently Macbooks’ but today hackers announced an “unpatchable” exploit for the processor which theoretically could give them full control over devices protected by the chips, including decrypting sensitive data.
The Problem: The right-hand frame rail in the engine compartment may be cracked, reducing crash performance and increasing the risk of an injury.
The Fix: Dealers will inspect and, as necessary, replace the SUV for free.
What Owners Should Do: Buick and Chevrolet manufacturer GM did not immediately announce an owner-notification schedule. Owners can call Buick at 800-521-7300, Chevrolet at 800-630-2438, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
